Common questions

Do I have to pay taxes on referral payouts?

Payouts are your responsibility to report per your local tax rules. We don't issue 1099s for amounts under $600, but we recommend keeping records for any income you receive. This isn't tax advice — talk to your accountant.

How long until I get paid?

Same day their invoice payment clears. If they pay on a weekend or holiday, you'll get it the next business day. We send payout immediately once funds land — no processing delay on our end.

What counts as a valid intro?

A valid intro means you submitted this form with a real prospect who we can contact and who responds to outreach. A prospect going dark after initial contact doesn't count — but we'll loop you in on their status as things develop.

What if multiple people refer the same company?

First submission wins. If two people refer the same company, the one we receive first gets the credit. If we already have a relationship with the company, that takes precedence — but we'll let you know if there's any overlap.

What's the deal after July 10, 2026?

Submissions received before the deadline count — even if the deal closes after July 10. So if you refer someone June 28 and they sign in August, you still get paid. Any referrals submitted after July 10 go into a new program (terms TBD).
